The Pulitzer Prize-winning critic Roger EBERT (5 letters) was an American film critic, journalist, and author. He was the first film critic to win the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism in 1975. He was also known for his television programs, including Siskel & EBERT at the Movies, which he co-hosted with Gene Siskel until Siskel's death in 1999. EBERT wrote more than 300 reviews a year for the Chicago Sun-Times and was one of the most influential film critics of all time.
