Publicly Queer is a term used to describe someone who openly identifies as LGBTQ in public. It is a way of expressing one's gender identity and/or sexual orientation without fear of judgement or discrimination. This term is often used to show solidarity with the LGBTQ community and to create a safe space for those who identify as such. OUT is a three letter word that is often used to describe someone who is publicly queer.
