Property divider is a term used to describe any physical barrier that is used to separate two pieces of land. Common examples of property dividers include a HEDGE, FENCE, or HEDGEROW. A HEDGE is a line of closely planted shrubs or trees that are used to form a boundary. A FENCE is a structure made of wood, metal, or other material that is used to enclose an area. A HEDGEROW is a line of shrubs or trees that are planted close together and used to divide land. All of these are used to divide two pieces of land and are referred to as property dividers.
