Producer Prince, also known as Prince Rogers Nelson, was an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and filmmaker. He was one of the most successful and influential musicians of his generation, selling over 100 million records worldwide. His career spanned four decades and included the release of 39 studio albums and five live albums. He was also a prolific producer, writing and producing many of his own songs as well as those of other artists. Hal was Prince's longtime collaborator and friend, who worked with him on many of his albums.
