Jane Goodall is a primatologist who is renowned for her groundbreaking work with chimpanzees. She is best known for her 45-year study of social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees in Gombe Stream National Park, Tanzania. Goodall is also the founder of the JANE Goodall Institute, which works to protect chimpanzees and their habitats. She has received numerous awards and honors for her work, including the Medal of Tanzania and the Order of the Golden Ark.
