A presidential administration is the term used to describe the executive branch of the United States government, headed by the President. The term is also used to refer to the period of time in which a particular president is in office. An important part of a president's term is taking the OATH of Office, which is a solemn promise to faithfully execute the duties of the office and to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.
