Predatory birds are birds that hunt and feed on other animals. The most common predatory birds are erns, kites, and shrikes. Erns are small, long-winged birds of prey with a hooked bill and short legs. Kites are medium-sized birds of prey with long wings and weak legs. Shrikes are large, long-winged birds of prey with a hooked bill and strong legs. All three of these predatory birds have sharp talons and beaks which they use to capture their prey.
