A Precollege Exam is an exam taken by high school students to assess their academic readiness for college. The two most common Precollege Exams are the APTEST and the SAT. The APTEST stands for Advanced Placement Test and is a standardized test developed by the College Board that is used to measure a student's knowledge in a variety of subjects. The SAT, or Scholastic Aptitude Test, is also a standardized test developed by the College Board that is used to measure a student's aptitude for college-level work.
