A potato snack is a popular snack food made from potatoes. The most common potato snacks are potato skins, which are the skins of potatoes that have been deep-fried or baked; potato crisps, which are thin slices of potatoes that have been deep-fried; and potato fries, which are thick slices of potatoes that have been deep-fried. Potato crisps are also known as potato chips. All of these potato snacks are usually served with a dip or sauce.
