The Pope's Triple Crown is a set of three papal tiaras that have been used by the Pope since the 16th century. The three tiaras are the Papal TIARA, the TIARA of Pius IX and the TIARA of Paul VI. The Papal TIARA is the oldest and most ornate of the three, and is made of gold and jewels. The TIARA of Pius IX is a simpler version of the Papal TIARA, and is made of silver and gold. The TIARA of Paul VI is the most modern of the three, and is made of gold and white enamel.
