The Pong Creator was a video game designer employed by Atari in the 1970s. He is credited with creating the iconic game Pong, one of the earliest arcade video games. His name is Allan Alcorn and he was hired by Atari founder Nolan Bushnell to develop the game. Alcorn's design for Pong was based on an electronic ping-pong game he had seen in a bar. The game was a huge success and helped to launch the video game industry.
