Jon Stewart is an American political satirist, comedian, writer, producer, director, actor, and television host. He is best known for hosting the satirical comedy program The Daily Show from 1999 to 2015. Stewart has also had a successful career in film and television, including roles in the films Big Daddy, Death to Smoochy, and Half Baked. He has won numerous awards for his work, including two Primetime Emmy Awards and two Peabody Awards.
