Molly Ivins was an American political columnist, journalist, and author. She was known for her sharp wit and her progressive views on politics. She wrote columns for the Dallas Times Herald, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, and the New York Times. She also wrote several books, including 'Shrub: The Short but Happy Political Life of George W. Bush' and 'Bushwhacked: Life in George W. Bush's America'. Ivins was a popular speaker and appeared on television and radio shows. She passed away in 2007.
