Pol Romney is the father of MITT Romney, the former Governor of Massachusetts and 2012 Republican presidential nominee. He was born in 1907 in Chihuahua, Mexico and was a successful businessman and philanthropist. He was also an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as a bishop and stake president. He was married to Lenore Romney and had four children, including MITT. He passed away in 1995 at the age of 88.
