Edna St. Vincent Millay was an American poet, playwright, and feminist. She was the third woman to receive the Pulitzer Prize for Poetry in 1923 and is known for her lyrical and often romantic poetry. Millay was born in Rockland, Maine in 1892 and died in 1950.
