Playwright Burrows is the pen name of ABE Burrows, an American playwright, director, and composer. He was a Tony Award-winning writer and director for the Broadway musicals Guys and Dolls and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He also wrote the book for the musicals Make a Wish and Can-Can. Burrows was a prolific writer, having written over 30 plays and musicals throughout his career.
