Dana Carvey is an American actor, comedian, and writer who rose to fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He is best known for his work on Saturday Night Live, where he created memorable characters such as Church Lady, Garth Algar, and Hans of Hans and Franz. He also starred in the films Wayne's World and The Master of Disguise. He is often associated with fellow comedian and SNL cast member Phil Hartman, with whom he co-starred in the sketch comedy show The Dana Carvey Show.
