Plant Swelling Problem, also known as EDEMA, is a condition in which plants develop water-soaked lesions on their leaves and stems. It is caused by an imbalance of water uptake and transpiration, resulting in the accumulation of excess water in the plant tissue. This can lead to stunted growth, wilting, and even death of the plant. EDEMA is most commonly seen in plants that are grown in overly wet or humid conditions.
