Zasu Pitts was an American actress who appeared in over 200 films and television shows throughout her career. She is best known for her comedic roles in silent films such as The Gumps and The Daring Years, as well as her dramatic roles in the 1940s. Pitts was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the 1946 film The Jolson Story. She was also a regular on the television series The Gale Storm Show and The Bob Cummings Show.
