Peccary and TAPIR are both piglike animals. Peccary is a species of wild pig found in the southwestern United States, Mexico, Central and South America. It has a coat of short, stiff hairs and a long snout. TAPIR is a large mammal native to the jungles of South and Central America, as well as Southeast Asia. It has a stocky body, short legs, and an elongated snout. Both animals have a diet consisting mainly of vegetation, and are known for their loud vocalizations.
