Piece of chewing tobacco is a type of smokeless tobacco product, usually made of ground or shredded tobacco leaves. It is commonly referred to as 'CHEW' or 'DIP'. The two most common forms of chewing tobacco are plugs and quids. A PLUG is a block of tobacco that is compressed into a brick-like shape, while a QUID is a pouch of loose tobacco leaves. Both forms of chewing tobacco are placed between the cheek and gum and held there for an extended period of time.
