Pianist Peter Serkin was a renowned classical musician, known for his interpretations of Bach and Mozart. He was also a member of the Marlboro Music School and Festival, and a professor at the Curtis Institute of Music. Pianist Peter Nero was an American jazz and popular music pianist, composer, and arranger. He was the founder and musical director of the Philly Pops Orchestra, and he won a Grammy Award in 1965 for his album Summer of '42.
