Eddy Duchin was a renowned American pianist and bandleader in the 1930s and 1940s. He was known for his romantic style of playing and his popular recordings of songs such as 'Charmaine' and 'My Reverie'. He was also a composer, arranger, and vocalist. Duchin's career began in the early 1930s when he joined the orchestra of Jean Goldkette. He later formed his own band, which became one of the most popular bands of the era. He died in 1951 at the age of 43.
