Wolfgang Pauli was a Nobel Prize-winning physicist who made significant contributions to the field of quantum mechanics. He was born in Vienna, Austria in 1900 and was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1945 for his discovery of the exclusion principle, also known as the Pauli principle. He is also known for his work on spin theory, which he developed in 1925. Pauli was a professor at several universities throughout his career, including the University of Göttingen and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He died in 1958.
