Diane ARBUS was an American photographer known for her black and white portraits of marginalized people, including those with physical disabilities, mental illness, and other unconventional subjects. She was born in 1923 and died in 1971. Her work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and publications, and she is considered one of the most influential photographers of the 20th century.
