The Phoenix Squad is a professional basketball team based in Phoenix, Arizona. They are part of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and are commonly referred to as the SUNS. The team was founded in 1968 and has since become one of the most successful teams in the NBA, winning two conference titles and one NBA championship.
