PGA Legend Sam Snead was a professional golfer who won a record 82 PGA Tour events. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974 and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in the history of golf. Snead won seven major championships, including three Masters titles, and was the oldest winner of a PGA Tour event at the age of 52. He also won the PGA Player of the Year award twice and was the first golfer to win the Vardon Trophy for lowest scoring average four times.
