Peter and Paul are two of the most important figures in Christianity. They were both saints, and Peter was also known as a Tsar. Peter was one of Jesus' twelve apostles and is considered to be the first Pope. Paul was a Jewish convert to Christianity who wrote several of the New Testament epistles. Together, they are remembered for their missionary work and for spreading the gospel throughout the Roman Empire.
