The term Persian God refers to Mithras, a seven-letter deity from ancient Persian religion. Mithras was a major figure in Zoroastrianism, the dominant religion of Persia before the arrival of Islam. He was also worshipped by the Roman Empire, where he was known as Sol Invictus, or the Unconquered Sun. Mithras was associated with light, truth, and justice, and was often depicted as a warrior god.
