Pearl Harbor's Island is Oahu, a Hawaiian island located in the Central Pacific. It is the third largest of the Hawaiian Islands and is home to the state capital, Honolulu. Oahu is most famously known for being the site of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, which was a surprise military strike by the Imperial Japanese Navy against the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The attack led to the United States' entry into World War II.
