Pikes Peak, CO is a mountain peak located in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. It is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains and stands at an elevation of 14, 115 feet. It is one of the most visited mountains in the United States and is known for its sweeping views of the surrounding area. The mountain is named after American explorer Zebulon Pike, who was the first to document the peak in 1806.
