The Peacock Throne was a famous throne used by the Mughal emperors of India. It was made of gold and decorated with precious stones and peacock feathers. The throne was commissioned by the Mughal EMPERORSHAH Jahan in the 17th century. The word 'SHAH' is a Persian title meaning 'KING' or 'EMPEROR'.
