Corey Pavin is a professional golfer from the United States who has won 15 PGA Tour events and one major championship. He was born in Oxnard, California in 1959 and turned professional in 1982. Pavin was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2018. He is best known for his victory at the 1995 U.S. Open, where he held off Greg Norman to win by one stroke. Pavin also represented the United States in four Ryder Cup tournaments, captaining the team in 2010.
