Paul and Simon were two of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. They were both fishermen from Galilee who were called by Jesus to be his disciples. Paul was originally known as Saul and was a persecutor of Christians before his conversion on the road to Damascus. Simon was also known as Peter and was the leader of the apostles. Both Paul and Simon played an important role in the spread of Christianity throughout the world.
