The Passaic River City is Paterson, a city located in New Jersey. It is the county seat of Passaic County and was founded in 1791 by Alexander Hamilton. Paterson is known for its industrial history, having been the site of the first steam-powered cotton-spinning mill in the United States. It is also home to the Great Falls of the Passaic River, which is the second-largest waterfall in the eastern United States.
