The Acts of the Apostles, also known as Acts, is a book of the New Testament that tells the story of the early Christian church. It is traditionally attributed to the author Luke, a companion of Paul the Apostle. The book is the second part of a two-volume work that also includes the Gospel of Luke. Acts recounts the ministry of Jesus' apostles and their missionary journeys, as well as the growth and spread of the early church.
