Rosa Parks or ROSA Bonheur are both iconic figures in history. ROSA Parks was an African-American civil rights activist who famously refused to give up her seat on a bus in Montgomery, Alabama in 1955. This act of civil disobedience sparked the Montgomery Bus Boycott and helped to launch the civil rights movement. ROSA Bonheur was a French painter and sculptor who was renowned for her animal paintings. She was the first woman to be awarded the Cross of the Legion of Honor in 1865.
