Outfielder is a position in baseball, typically played by three players on the field at any given time. Babe RUTH, an American professional baseball player, was an outfielder who played for the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees from 1914 to 1935. Ted Williams, another American professional baseball player, was an outfielder who played for the Boston Red Sox from 1939 to 1960. Willie Mays, an American professional baseball player, was an outfielder who played for the New York Giants and the San Francisco Giants from 1951 to 1973. All three of these players are considered to be some of the greatest outfielders of all time.
