The Ostrich Relative is a term used to describe three different species of birds. The Tinamou is a type of ground-dwelling bird found in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. The EMU is a large, flightless bird native to Australia. The RHEA is a large, flightless bird native to South America. All three of these species are related to the Ostrich and share many of the same characteristics.
