Rita Moreno is an Oscar-winning actress, singer, and dancer. She won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1962 for her role in West Side Story. She is also the first Hispanic person to win an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award. Moreno has had a long and successful career in film, television, and theater. She is best known for her roles in West Side Story, The King and I, Singin' in the Rain, and The Electric Company.
