Oscar Winner Alan Arkin is an American actor, director, and screenwriter. He won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in the 2006 film Little Miss Sunshine. He has also been nominated for several other awards, including two Golden Globe Awards and four BAFTA Awards. Arkin has appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout his career, including The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming, Catch-22, Glengarry Glen Ross, and Argo. He is also known for his voice work in animated films such as The Lorax and The Addams Family.
