Zubin Mehta is an orchestra conductor from India who has conducted some of the world's most renowned orchestras. He is best known for his work with the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, which he led for more than four decades. Mehta has also conducted the New York Philharmonic, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Vienna State Opera. He has received numerous awards and honors for his work, including the Kennedy Center Honors in 2006.
