Daniel Oren is an Israeli opera conductor who has been active in the music industry since the 1970s. He has conducted many of the world's leading orchestras and opera companies, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, the Metropolitan Opera, and the Vienna State Opera. He has also conducted numerous recordings, including the Grammy Award-winning recording of Verdi's Requiem. Oren has received numerous awards for his work, including the Israel Prize in Music in 2006.
