One of the original 13 colonies was a COLONY, which was one of the first 13 British colonies in North America. The original 13 colonies were established between 1607 and 1733 and included Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Virginia, New York, North Carolina, and Rhode Island. These colonies eventually became the United States of America.
