Dara Torres is an Olympic swimmer who has competed in five Olympic Games, winning twelve medals. She is the first and only swimmer to represent the United States in five Olympic Games, and at age 41, she became the oldest swimmer to earn a place on the U.S. Olympic team. Torres is also the first American swimmer to appear in four Olympic Games and the first female athlete in history to compete in the Olympics in five different decades.
