Old TV Detective Peter Gunn was a fictional private detective created by Blake Edwards and featured in a television series of the same name that aired from 1958 to 1961. He was portrayed by actor Craig Stevens and was known for his stylish suits, jazz-influenced theme music, and wisecracking dialogue. Gunn was a tough, no-nonsense detective who worked for a wealthy clientele in the city of River Rock. He often found himself in dangerous situations, but always managed to come out on top.
