The term 'OLD HOUSTON NFL TEAM' is referring to the Houston Oilers, a professional American football team that was based in Houston, Texas from 1960 to 1996. The team was a member of the American Football League (AFL) and later joined the National Football League (NFL) as part of the AFL–NFL merger in 1970. The Oilers won two AFL championships before joining the NFL and won one division title while in the NFL. The team relocated to Tennessee in 1997 and became the Tennessee Titans.
