Ohio Lake is a reference to Lake Erie, the fourth largest of the five Great Lakes in North America. It is located on the border between the United States and Canada, and is the southernmost of the Great Lakes. It is named after the Erie tribe of Native Americans who lived along its southern shore. The lake has a surface area of approximately 25, 700 square miles and is the shallowest of the Great Lakes.
