Arthur Ashe was an American professional tennis player who won three Grand Slam titles. He is also remembered for his activism and humanitarian work, which he documented in his memoir, 'Off the Court'. Ashe was a four-time Grand Slam singles champion and an Olympic gold medalist. He was the first African American to be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame and the first black man to win the singles title at Wimbledon, the US Open, and the Australian Open.
