Terry McMillan is an American novelist best known for her 1992 novel, 'Waiting to Exhale'. She has written several other novels, including 'Disappearing Acts' (1989), 'How Stella Got Her Groove Back' (1996), and 'A Day Late and a Dollar Short' (2001). McMillan has also written several non-fiction works, including 'It's Ok if You're Clueless: And 23 More Tips for the College Bound' (1998). She has been nominated for numerous awards, including the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction.
